The Rippon Winery is located on the shores of Lake Wanaka. The enchanting landscape has not only made the winery the most photographed in the world, but also provides the ideal conditions for the mild microclimate that is reflected in the quality of the wines.
It was founded in 1982 by the Mills family, one of Central Otago's pioneering winegrowers, and is a certified biodynamic winery. All Rippon wines are produced from a single vineyard, from some of the oldest vines in the region.
Rippon Pinot Noir wines spend two winters in barrels and are bottled without filtration. All wines remain bottled in the cellar for one year before their release on the market.
