The Place of Changing Winds winery, named after the region's first inhabitants, was founded by Robert Walters and is located in the densely planted vineyard of the same name at the southern foot of Mount Macedon in central Victoria, Australia.
Place of Changing Winds produces wines from certified organic vineyards, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay exclusively from the estate's vines, as well as Syrah and Marsanne from two northern vineyards, Harcourt and Heathcote respectively.
All four varieties are cultivated under strict and specialized viticultural practices, without chemical additives and, to a large extent, by hand. The winery's wines stand out for their particular elegance, their intensely aromatic character, and their aging potential.
